Acme guitar works is now selling something called the "Toneshaper Narrow Superswitch"This is narrower than the Oak/Grigsby Superswitch by .230". This means it will fit a Tele control cavity without modification. It runs about $3 more than the regular Superswitch. Over the years here, there have been a number of people who lamented having to modify a cavity to get a Superswitch to fit. So I thought this was a good thing to share.

asmith, you need to find a bunch of like-minded pals and put together a group order . . . Find a bunch of what now? Actually, I'm overreacting. Truth be told I have some Lollars on their way soon from the Sumgai Shipping Co., so international nutz isn't a completely alien territory - it just seems a ballache for something so small. The switch is still cheaper than a standard superswitch over here. Even with the US-UK postage factored in, a 'bulk' order would still be cheaper by the unit. And I can always sell the excess on eBay alongside the left-over entrails of the experiments... I've come across situations in the past where international postage is a good excuse for a big charge to get tacked on top of my order, hence sumgai's gracious favour with the pickups. I may well see what I/we can do about this. Half of those Lollars are for a Tele project - much simplified with a narrower switch. Thanks Nutz. You guys rock.
