Just wanted to throw a quick whine out there...
As perhaps a few have noticed, I've been absent from the forum for a couple weeks and besides being a bit more busy at work than usual, the following might shed some light on this lamentable situation.
Moving SUCKs.
Don't get me wrong, I love my new house. LOVE. Here's the issue: Verizon SUCKs. Shut off phone July 5th, supposed to get phone turned on at new house July 5th. Got it July 13th. Supposed to get DSL up and running by the 11th. Called yesterday and was told my management that it wasn't hooked up yet (no, really?) and that I'd need to wait until the 19th... Now, normally, whatever, but I run my own business on the side, my wife is coming to the end of her on-line master's degree (read 11 books, write like 60 pages before August 1) and we've got no connection. Oh, and my bank tried to contact me via the PHONE about a hacking scheme that required them to cancel my debit card the day before my yearly website renewal went through. Bye-bye website... So if my pics stop working, there's why (still working on getting that one back up)... So, yeah.
That being said, It's good to be back. I'm going to be sporadic at best for the next few weeks until all the dust settles, but I'll be around here and there.

Buddha said " To exist is to suffer"
To me, theres nothing more stressful then a move!!
Once the dust settles youll be as good as new.
Are you like me and moved all of your guitar equipment yourself?...I mean in the car right with you?.....like its own personal chauffeur?

Yeah, in the car, but we only moved about 300yds - from a temporary apartment to our final finished house. Funny that the move into the apartment didn't seem to take this much effort...

i'd go with that cept for a few minor issues: i live in what used to be the middle of nowhere, then the military base moved 5000 families into town all at once. Yeah, the area is still catching up and cell service is spotty at best in the basement (yeah, it's finished, TV and all...) Cable around here is spotty at best (though the setup might be easier). For now I'm blessing the gods of ignorant wireless router users and 'borrowing' some internet till thursday.
