I'm about to start a project of dremeling out a pocket and adding a neck pickup to my guitar which previously did not have one...
This is going to require another volume pot and maybe a cap to add brightness...
Are the radio shack pots good enough and long lasting enough (and small enough) ??
Where have you guys ordered your pots and caps from ?? Obviously I would prefer to avoid paying $2 for a pot and $14 shipping for it...

what is the web site for walmoth ? i searched in google and did not see it anywhere... Hmm, that could be because somebody either had a "typo moment," or they were making a Walmart/ Warmoth joke. It's www.warmoth.com. Since I can't seem to find UnklMickey's Colossal Thread of Links, which would've had a bunch of suppliers listed in it, I'll mention a couple I've used for switches and other parts/components: guitarelectronics.zoovy.comwww.mouser.comHope this helps.

I really like www.guitarelectronics.com It took less than a week to get here (first class postal service... CHEAP) and I completely rewired my bass for less than 20 bucks. Everything I've tried of theirs is top quality. Another you might want to try is www.stewmac.com

One thing about Mouser: Mouser is not a guitar electronics supplier but a universal supplier, so only get stuff from them when you are absolutely sure you know what you are getting. Chesh

Guitar electronics has a bigger selection of pots and switches than Guitar Fetish. GF is mainly a pickup site. But GF does have some nice active tone switches and overdrive units that you can put in your guitar. www.Jameco.com is similar to mouser but with pictures. Nothing like 100 resistors for a buck.
