Hi folks. I'm working on a project Ibanez guitar at the moment, and I've finally made my way to working on the electronics and I need some quick advice. I'm going with an H-S-H setup, vol and tone, 5-way switch, and a DPDT On/On switch that splits the bridge and neck pickups. My goal is to wire the guitar like an Ibanez JEM, but with star grounding and the toggle switch. I worked out a quick "schematic," but I wasn't sure if it'd work. Any advice would be great.

I generally don't like to bump my own threads, but can anyone help me out?

Wow, that looks like my gran's knitting basket. If you could unravel all the wool someone might be able to dcypher your diagram, or produce an orderly schematic instead, it's pretty hard to visualise as-is.

hi Kii,
welcome to GuitarNuts2.
looks like auto coil splitting in positions 2 and 4, and another switch to force a split (to get single sounds in positions 1 and 5).
the blue wire to the tone pot is in the wrong place. it should connect to the other lead of the cap.
cheers,
unk

the ground is connected to the cw lug of the tone pot, and the hot is connected to the wiper.
the cap isn't connected in series.
one of the connections to the tone pot needs to go through the cap.
