i havent tried it, but i dont see why it cant be done. it will take a bit of router work, but if thats what you want then go for it. I have taken a pbass and put in two jazz pups...

Well, heres the story. I had been working on this bass for about 8 months. ripped the fretboard off put on a slab of bloodwood and made it a fretless. new bone nut, new string tree new electronics. sanded the headstock and neck, new stain and a few coats of spar urethane ect.... finally wired it last tuesday, but had no strings. went out wed to get strings. my plan was to string it on thurs and play it for the first time...... sometime wed night someone smashed in my truck window and stole it before i could even play it. i would love to think that it would have been unbelievably jazzistic. it would have been glorious. there is a post at guitarnuts2.proboards45.com/index.cgi?board=bastards&action=display&thread=1184974050there is a poorly computer rendered version of it...(i hadent gotten to take any pics of it yet......) check it out, if you have seen it, please let me know. Thanks, Tyler

yeah, i am a bit upset. i am planning on making another w/ the same pups and wiring. im thinking hollow body jazz bass..... at any rate it will be quite a while until i get to do it, cause its gonna be pricey. whenever i do get it done, i will be sure to post a sound clip though....
