I am re-wiring a Gibson/Les Paul style guitar. Nothing fancy or unusual, but I am a little baffled by what I need to do with part of the schematic. The schematic I am following is this: www.axesrus.com/images/gibwiring.jpgMy question is, on the schematic where do I wire the grounds from the bridge and the pickups and the sleeve of the jack and the pickup selector? Does it matter where it's grounded? Thanks for the help. Jef

jef, Hi, and welcome to the NutzHouse! ;D What you just described is the ground (system) of the guitar. Simply hook them all together, and you're golden. Make sure that none of the 'non-ground' wires or components come in accidental contact with that ground system, and your guitar should work as advertised. How you accomplish all this is up to you, of course, but you might consider reading the "Quieting the Beast" article on the Original GuitarNuts site. The subject of connecting ground points is covered in detail, with illustrations that should be helpful. HTH sumgai
