I am assembling my latest Warmoth and since I decided to go nontraditional with my pickup choices.. I am thinking I can go non traditional with my wiring.
I picked a Dimarzio Tone Zone T for the bridge and a Area T for the neck. These should sound killer together. I have always wanted a tele with a single coil bucker in the bridge. They are going into a Warmoth Black korina Body (black korina sounds similar to mahogany) and a Warmoth Birdseye Maple Neck with stainless frets.
I was thinking of modern 4 way wiring. ... but then I started to wonder what else was out there. How are you guys wiring your Super Tele's? This one is going to be a rocker. I play Judas Priest/AC/DC and 70's Rock. My amps are a Fender SuperSonic, handwired AC15 and a Suhr Badger.
The other Tele's I have either have a 3 way switch or the s1 system.
I like the master tone knob on my eric johnson strat..
How would you guys wire this?
I want a really versatile rocker with some extra twists that you wouldn't find in other telecasters..

I would use the T-riffic mod, with a push/pull pot on one of the controls to switch between series/parallel on the humbucker. Alternatively the push/pull could do series/single coil for the humbucker.

How would the phase switch work?
Anyone else have any suggestions on how they would wire it up? Chris
