Hi everyone - I've had help here in the past with my tele and I now want to have a try at converting my very playable Ibanez into an all sorts, so am hoping for the same great response. All help gratefully received.
I have two 4 wire humbuckers for neck and bridge and a stacked strat, 4 wire for the middle.
I'm looking for the greatest range of sounds I can get without adding a switch (push/pulls fine) so thought I'd throw it open to the forum to recommend some simple solutions for a simple solderer. I want the sounds of single coils and the sounds of humbuckers but after that all I know is I'd like to try some series configs, some out of phase sounds and.....
I know that a brief makes this easier but I've not heard a lot of these sounds and don't want to spend hours trying different wirings when many of you have done these many times and can describe the sounds (and how hard or easy it is to wire them)
Whatd'ya say?

Without extra switches you say... You could try a variation on the 'S-tastic' mod. That is set up for single coils, but what you could do is use push/pulls on all 3 pots to 'split' each pickup into a single coil. That would give you all the s-tastic sounds, and various humbucker combinations as well. Pete

Hi - hope this isn't too late.
Seymourduncan.com has many wiring diagrams. One that might suit you is the one that has a push/pull on the vol pot to convert "all humbucking" to "all split".
You can make it more complicated if you want by putting series/parallel or phase/out of phase push/pulls on the remaining pots.
Hope that helps.
