That to me sounds like the logical solution "bam", but the other resolve would to be; "NEVER LAY YOUR GUITAR ON THE FLOOR TO AVOID STEPPING ON IT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT" The grief you have received is only in jest "heartThorHeries." ;D What type of guitar is it and have you had any experience at repair befor your recent calamity? Give us all the info you can and we will definately help you out as best as we can.

hey, heartThorSeries! i used to have a thor sound (TS 500) that i really liked. really well-made and a great sound! check out this site if you haven't found it yet: www.therathole.orgthere's plenty of info on aria pro ii and other brands made at the matsumoku factory. here's my advice on the knob: try to pry out the peg w/ needle nose pliers or something. no-one has the knobs on TSs anymore so you'll neeed to save it. when you take out the potentiometer from the cavity, note where the wires attach and simply solder those wires to a new one (like the ones StratLover has posted links for) in the same place. i guess you've learned your lesson. the only 3 places to put your guitar: 1) in its case 2) on a stand 3) in your hands ;D good luck!

Second that "GuyaGuy",--- ;D;D---and always remember that the preferential place for your guitar is ALWAYS in your hands. If you run into any blirps, let the "NUTS" know and we will do all we can to help you out.

well now may be a good time to do a mod to your guitar . you will have it open anyway to replace the pot that broke off ...right ? so check this out , its not that hard to do . guitarnuts2.proboards.com/page/gn1-pages/wiring/shielding/shield3.php and we are here to help . but if you feel your up to doing a repair yourself , take it to a good repair shop or maybe you have a friend who can help.

awesome, found one of those things even cheaper at Mom's Music and my guitar instructor says he'll put it in for free , i think i'll go that route but i will most definantly check the wiring thing out (i've opened it a few times and some of the wires are actually TAPED together with electrical tape!!) sounds great, but i bet it'll sound better thanks for your help all peace! p.s. cases and stands cost money , but it is most definantly in my hands 80% of the time
