Looking through the booklet of the Yes album "Tormato", it says Jon Anderson plays an Alvarez 10 String on various songs, but I can't seem to find one anywhere. Can anyone help?

There may not be any Alvarezes on that site, but there are enough 10-strings (like, one) to make me not want to look for any more. I have enough trouble keeping my six or 12 straight.

Sounds similar enough.
I have a German friend who's heard me say "Gosh Darn Infidels" enough to have it etched in her vocabulary (I don't actually say "gosh darn", but you suspected that).
We were driving near Brighton one summer (yeah, that Brighton in Brittan) and another driver was weaving aboot.
She loudly let out with "Gosh Darn Daffodils". The rest of the vehicular occupants were confused (not to mention somewhat alarmed, this was England proper after all), but I knew what she meant.
It sounded similar enough (and apparently there had been a childhood incident involving daffodils).......
P.S. She doesn't actually say "gosh darn" either.....

Initially for this thread I was leaning towards the "10-string alvarez" being a reincarnation of the Keef Richards 5-string tele. Good sleuthing Alcurado. For those a bit more ambitious, and stronger backs, this company offers 14-string models. At some point, I would begin to think that it becomes the Gillette paradox of how many razor blades are necessary for a man to shave? And the answer of course is... just one really sharp one?

alucardo- Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!7 years to resurrect this thread, but done with pertinent info.. I agree, well played! And, as to your username. Is it perhaps short for Count . . .Alucardo . . . ? (Extra special brownie points to the first of the Nutz who gets that reference!)

Well done, but that wasn't the specific (as in, title of the work in question) reference I was looking for.
