I'm looking for a half-decent multi effects pedal which would be ideal for beginners to electric guitars.

Dyolf, I went through a number of inexpensive multi-effects units until I tried the Boss GT-3. Excellent unit for the price. And since they have come out with two or three newer generation processors, you could probably pick one up on eBAY for a song! (So to speak)

I have a Digitech GSP21 which is a 1-unit rackmount multi effects processor with a pedalboard. Very neat unit with a ton of features -- you can go a little nuts with it. it's old and beat up, and the pedal cable is a DIY jobber (previous owner wanted a really long one). But it's functionally fantastic. I'm looking to get $175 plus shipping for it.
PM/email/reply -- get a hold of me if you're interested.
Cheers!

Gotta say I love my PODxt. Still, I can't duplicate the sound I get out of my old Fender Vibrochamp and a pedalboard of stompboxes.
