This mod that I did for someone a couple of years back gives either of the following combo's: 5. Neck coils series 4. Neck single coil 3. Neck coils series + Bridge coils series 2. Bridge single coil 1. Bridge coils series OR 5. Neck coils series 4. Neck inside coil series with Bridge inside coil 3. Neck coils series + Bridge coils series 2. Neck outside coil series with Bridge outside coil 1. Bridge coils series (2 and 4 depend on how one wires.)

I love the idea of your second wiring option here...
5. Neck coils series 4. Neck inside coil series with Bridge inside coil 3. Neck coils series + Bridge coils series 2. Neck outside coil series with Bridge outside coil 1. Bridge coils series
...but the schematic has me terribly confused. I build some pretty cool guitars but the electronics can confuse me on occation. Could you do a diagram for this option that a newbie like me would understand?
Thank, Scott.

Yeah, but are you sure that you don't want to "learn to fish"? guitarnuts2.proboards45.com/index.cgi?board=schem&action=display&thread=1158705194This scheme requires a super switch (4P5T lever), but if you can find the half-super switch (2P5T lever), it will work. Only a few folks carry the half-pipe. Are you considering this scheme for personal use (no money involved) or for incorporation into a product for sale? There are many forms of compensation, including recognition.

Yup. That's the animal right there. I like to use those and the Rotaries too and yes this would be incorporated for personal use AND as a wiring option for future customers. I will be adding a link on my links page to this site and/or the original guitar nuts site. Which would be better?

Scott, How about both? I don't see any reason why JohnA wouldn't mind, but it might pay to ask him first, just to be sure. As far as I'm concerned, you can put up a link to The GuitarNutz2 Forums as you wish - we'd appreciate it! (Note to self: ask unklmickey to add Hembry Guitars to his list in the Reference Articles.) sumgai
