I have been thinking for this for a long time, and still have no clue at all. Please help me or give me any links that can have a working diagram for this, thankssss!!!!
for a SSH PU set up, if I use a super switch and a pull push pot (tone) combination, which will give 10 different selection positions, can I achieve and how, if possible, the following 10 PU configurations? all in phase sound.
1. N alone 2. N and M parallel 3. N and M serial 4. N and B parallel (B no coil split) 5. N and B serial (B no coil split) 6. M alone 7. M and one single coil in the B parallel (the single coil that is close to the M PU) 8. M and B serial (B no coil split) 9. One single coil in B (the one close to the bridge) 10. B alone
Thanks again.

HMB-
Welcome back! Sorry I had to move your post, but the schematics page is not for general questions.
I suspect what you ask for can be done, as long as you're not too picky about which switch positions will give you a particular combination- that is to say, if the order doesn't matter. But I don't have a handy diagram, so I'll let others weigh in.

Thanks! Yeah, the order of the configuration does not matter, as long as I could achieve those 10 possibilities. I am not sure if it is feasible with just the normal push pull pot, it may need specical two position toggle or similar?

I haven't proven it but I doubt if those combos are possible with just those switches. I had a think about it and the various connections required don't fall sufficiently into nice patterns and groups. The best Superswitch and DPDT scheme we have is the Mike Richardson mod, and here is ChrisK's version, with phase switches which you could omit: guitarnuts2.proboards45.com/index.cgi?board=schem&action=display&thread=3140That will get you most of the combos you want, and a couple more, but no bridge splitting and no M on its own. If you can live without M only, then you could do that with a seperate 2 or 3 postion toggle to split the bridge pup. John

Thanks for quick response! I am not sure if one super switch and two pull push pots will do the work? but I will check the diagram in your link and see if I can adapt that...
Cheers.
