I am building a new custom Strat and want to try the Mike Richardson Strat wiring V 2.0 as viewed on Guitar Nuts. Can someone tell me if both wires to the volume pot (from the switch and from the wiper on the neck tone pot) land on the high side of the volume pot?
I am also using Hoveland Music Caps and would like to know which end goes where? One lead is green and one lead is red. By the drawing I am assuming that these are installed from the low end of the neck tone pot to the N- on the Super Switch and the other is installed from the wiper on the bridge tone to ground, even though these look like contacts instead of caps.

This is one that I did some years ago. I don't know if it's version 2. It would be easier if you posted links to what you refer. Mike Richardson wiring with phase. I don't know what a Hoveland Music Cap is. Is it something more than a capacitor, or just a capacitor?

ChrisK: Thanks for your quick respnse. Sorry here is the link: (I am not sure how to add a link properly in this forum. I hope this helps.) It is the second drawing on this page. A Hoveland MusiCap is just a high end capacitor, polypropylene film & conductive foil.

Hello and Welcome!
Your link is fine. You can embed it by using "{url=http/www.whateverlinkhere.com/]Your text here[/url}", but substitute "[" and "]" at the ends instead of the "{"
