ok! so I have an idea (that probably isn't original). What do you think about the treble bleed mod (help explain it to me?) with a tone knob that is push/pull that adjusts the cap value. (I was thinking when it was pulled, that it would be a wah-tone type deal, and when it was pushed, it would be a lower cap). Could somebody explain how to do this all?

A fairly frequent topic hereabouts . . . ChrisK's Free Woman ToneYou don't even need the DPDT switch on a push/pull pot, a SPDT will do. And if you use a DP3T (the "center on" switch), you get 3 cap values to play with. Of course, that means a hole for an additional switch. I'm unclear on your reference to "the treble bleed mod". Are you referring to the RC filter usually applied to the Vol pot?

Sure, a push pull switch can certainly choose between two cap values.
The "treble bleed mod" is a misnomer for a treble bypass cap used to help circumvent the effect of the cable capacitance on the output frequency response as the pickup(s) output impedance is effectively increased by the volume control being turned down.
I'm not sure what you mean by "a wah-tone type deal" when in one position, and a "lower cap" when in the other.
While selecting two different capacitors will change the bypass effect, this is used to correct a natural deficiency in a passive volume control circuit driving a reactive load. Since it is not a bandpass filter, it will not have a striking effect similar to a wah pedal (which IS a high-gain frequency-swept active bandpass filter).

This is what I'm thinking. I forgot to add the treble bleed to the volume pot, and the random-ish circle sort of middle-left is the jack. The deal over the tone pot is a push/pull knob (I only have a DPDT). What do you think?

Oh, so you want to adjust the value of the high-cut tone cap and not the value of the treble high-pass cap. Well, what you drew is correct in that it will select between two high-cut tone caps. It is incorrect in that the tone pot is wired such that it has to be rotated backwards. As the pot is shown, use the wiper terminal and the right terminal. Speaking of attitude (not altitude), the "random-ish circle sort of middle-left" is actually on the starboard side.
