I am looking for an inexpensive practice amp, and was hoping that someone had a Vox Pathfinder 15R that they could make me a deal on... Thanx- Lonesomedave

LD-
Sorry to move you post, but it really belongs here.
I often see these on Ebay. Problem is, MF will sell you a new one for $120, often with free shipping. I see the used ones go for $75 or so on Ebay, with about $25 shipping. You're almost better off buying a new one and getting the warranty.

Yea, Im going to get a new one, but thought I'd try my favorite guitar haunts first, for the heck of it. Lonesomedave-

Hey Dave,
Let me know how well it plays. I am second guessing the Crush 30r. I'm thinking about getting a Crush 15R or a Pathfinder. It would be great to hear a peer's view on the Pathfinder and not some professional that compares it to an AC15

I, too, would be interested to hear a review. The Pathfinder 15R is (AFAIK) the only small SS amp in that price range to have onboard analog tremolo, as well as reverb.
Most small amps used to have tremolo aboard, now they all seem to have gain channels that sound like a snarling pit bull instead.
I'm a trem fan, I'd be interested to know if the Pathfinder has got the goods at that price.

Guys,
The Pathfinder is a great small practice amp.
That being said, a second hand, or third or fourth is better... At least IMHO.
I have a pathfinder that was made in Korea and it sounds far superior, again IMHO, to the current Vietnamese models......
