Hear ye, hear ye! Rejoice! Our band ZeroGravity just released its first full-length album Misplaced Moments! Since forums are where the real life is nowadays, there's no use in advertising through a superbowl add. You'd just have to get up from your desk chair to watch it. Now comes the awkward moment. You're wandering what we sound like? We could name bands, but then you'd go 'Arrogant bastards, they think they sound as good as - insert band name here -.', or 'Damn copycats are at it again'. But then again, naming some names would be more helpful than hearing 'We play cool vegan melodic purple troo progressive mathy rocking metal with heavyness and hooky sugar on top.’ So, can we, without saying we're right in their main avenue, say we're in the Pain of Salvation/Karnivool/Demians/Textures-ey vicinity? Can we just agree that we'd be right up your alley? Great! By the way: album was produced by Jochem Jacobs @ SplitSecond Sound (you know, the Textures producer/guitar player). Now, since delivering to the entire hemisphere with our tricycles turned out to be very tiring indeed, we have now become an officially hip band, by endorsing the process of what is called 'down-loading'. Translated in youngster slang: OMG, downloads are up y'all, check it before we run out of da internets! CDbaby, iTunes and Amazon.Com are up now. Others are following! Get them tasty mp3's while they're hot @ www.cdbaby.com/cd/zerogravitywww.amazon.com/Misplaced-Moments/dp/B004UI1QF6/ref=sr_shvl_album_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1301736081&sr=301-1Enjoy, and let us know what you think! The ZG-tribe P.S.: Also, since we're extremely unsecure people, it would do us lots of good for you guys to like us on facebook. www.facebook.com/#!/ZeroGravitybelgium Of course, you can also just internally like us, without clicking the 'like us' button, but as a wise monk once said: 'If it is not on facebook, it did in fact not happen.'.

There is nothing wrong with rampant shameless self-promotion. In this case it's almost a given. Promoting any music for fun and profit is a tough road all uphill these days.
And I will forgo the comparisons, as all they do is cloud the waters anyway. I will not feed the "categorize or die" mentality of the marketing toadies...
Long and short of it is I liked the short previews I heard. Very nice cross section of songs. You play together like a band where everyone pulls their own weight. And you found a vocalist who understands what signing on key means. Very refreshing...and it's in English...
While I know why it's in English, I find it admirable to have a song or two in the native tongue. In my mind it shows confidence and a respect for the home town fans...but that's just my opinion developed from years of never making a dime I held on to in the industry...
So, without any further ado, +1 to the band. I hold my BIC up high in tribute and wish you guys the best with this.
Now go flog another 50 or so forums...time's a wastin'
Happy Trails

Thank you! We are releasing (and funding) this album on our own, so it is always good to see that people appreciate this hard work, especially now, in a time where CD's have lost their value and all music is just a mouse click away. There are some teasers on our youtube page www.youtube.com/user/zgbelgium#p/u/0/edDpRBK7wQEhope you dig it and cya!!

Nicely done... Now, IMHO, some pix could give your promo a shot in the arm... but that's just me, a professional rank amateur... (plus, a kit list is always nice for all us equipment junkies...)

Thanks dude! But pictures? Why would one want that? We are the first good looking boys band with very ugly boys in it ;D Once the site is up and running, we will have some pix and maybe a gear list. Especially our drummer's kit is impressive ;D But than again, who cares for drummers anywayzzz...
