... before wiring it all up? i've noticed i keep wiring the neck pickups on my guitars out of phase wrt the bridge (tele and jazzmaster) or middle (strat) and not finding out until it's louder with the phase switch in what i though was the OOP setting
second thing is i just swapped the switch for my jazzmaster with the freeway switch and now the output is super low (resistance reading at jack is <1.2k for all settings) i'm guessing the culprit is a bad solder joint on the switch since it isn't on just one pickup? (figure i'll check the grounds and wire to volume pot first)

JohnH's Testing Phase- the Screwdriver Pull-Off TestAs far as your output, yes, you should double-check everything from the switch commons on outward. Did you double-check the values of the pots before installing them? Or the resistance readings on the individual pickups?

all pickups and pots were already in the guitar and working perfectly, i just changed the switch
