I bought a bass recently with two pickups, and two possibilities for using push/pulls. I'm also in the preliminary stages of a Tele project, so I've been thinking about N & B schemes a lot recently. pete12345's "Stealth tele with everything" that's been discussed at length recently gives some great combinations, but I wanted to cut out the parallel out of phase, and replace with half out of phase. It seems to be generally considered 'round these parts that POOP is poop, and HOOP is much better. On that note, I put together a diagram like so. After a little tinkering to incorporate that into a switchable scheme, this is the result. Bridge and Neck pickups can, of course, be switched round if needed. As a small caveat, this scheme requires pickups that have their 'shield ground' wire extraneous to their '+' and '-' wires.

Nice work! I've recently rerigged my strat to use HooP instead of PooP on the neck pickup and find it much better.
I've been scratching my head on this one trying to eliminate the capacitor in the D/U/1 position. I prefer to have the single pickup settings be unaffected by the settings of the other switches. Alas, I don't think it can be done, at least not with DPDT switches. You could do it easily if SW1 was a 3PDT, but then you couldn't hide it under a push/pull pot. Still, if you weren't bothered about maintaining a completely stock appearance you could simply add a toggle switch instead, or just remember that in one case the bridge will be in series with a capacitor. You never know, it might be an interesting sound that's worth keeping.
