Due to the occasional introduction of the word "computer" into our discussions, I've decided that we need to "hash this out, once and for all". Hence, we now can discuss in any amount of detail all the facets of how to use the computer to raise one's guitar skills and abilities. In my estimation, this should be more than just an area of what OS to use, or what Program to use, though those are good starters. I think we can point out plug-ins as they become available, accessories such as MIDI control boards/pedals that can be used with software/computers, etc. I think there are lots of possibilities here, don't you? And of course, as in the long-established NutzHouse tradition, asking for help is the Order Of The Day. Let no one say that any question is "dumb" or "stupid", either as an opening statement or as a reply. As I've always said "We're all the same here, only some of us got interested sooner, and therefore started sooner". I'm not going to personally start this off, but rest assured that I will enter my opinions, and occasionally a fact or two, as they are warranted. Now, have at it! ;D sumgai

I'd +1 you for this idea, but you'd just whack it anyway. With so little genuine analog recording going on these days it makes sense to start his section.
I'd take my hat off to you, but the glare might cause flash blindness...
