Help! Here is a stumper for everyone - I need a schematic for -- 2 SDuncan PAF pups wired to a Tele 3 way switch - which then goes to 2 separate concentric Vol/Tone pots....!! I cannot find anything close. Bueller? If anyone has anything please let me know..... I need this guitar done for an upcoming tour. Thank you! Moo coloradox@yahoo

moo- Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!He took the day off. Let me see if I can help. That's because you're thinking of this exactly backwards. The switch comes last in the chain, right before the output jack. For each pickup, it's pickup--->V & T---->3-way switch. So, to wire up your volume and tone controls, consult any standard Les Paul wiring diagram. Your concentric pots will be wired across each pickup, just like the individual V and T controls on an LP. (Beware! If you're not an "LP guy", use any modern LP diagram and ignore all the blathering among the LP set over "'50's wiring"). Then, the output from the V and T controls goes to the Tele switch and is wired just like the single coils on a Tele. Take the output from the switch to the jack and you're done. I'd do a quick diagram, but I'm off to work at present. If you're in a rush, best bet is to try your hand at a diagram that we'll then vet for you. Let's hope this tour isn't starting tomorrow or anything. and, in view of your screen name, can we assume it's a C&W tour? BTW, this sort of thing barely moves the "Strange Meter" needle around these parts . . .

welcome moo.
It does sound like all you need is a standard LP type of wiring, but using stacked pots. Or is there some different purpose that you have in mind? two separate outputs to different amps or something? How do you want to use this?

sharky-
Thanks for the link, but we never heard back from moo after his first inquiry, so I can only assume he either got it sorted or is touring with another axe.
