Likewise Gumbo! I wish everybody all the best. Not only should we wish the best for all people in the world, I know especially that the ppl in this place deserve it totally.

Well, I was gonna start my own topic, but then I saw this and said to myself "Ah, it's time for some payback!". g-f-b, here's a derailment for ya! Tomorrow (in real time, not upside-down time) is not my birthday. That's just for purposes of messing with ProBoards' collective mind. IMSO (in my strong opinion), nobody on the innerwebs needs to know my birthday, period. And for those who came late to the party (that would be anybody who's not yet a member of AARP), the original IBM PC had to be booted from either a floppy or a tape drive. (YES! Look at the back of one such, and you'll find two identical connectors, ancient-style 5-pin DIN jobbies. Nope, only one was for the keyboard, the other was for a tape drive, trust me. ) That last was a prelude to the fact that there was no persistent memory from boot to boot, thus you had to enter the Date and Time, every time you booted the machine. And germane to my point, every time you did this, the earliest date the machine would recognize was January 1, 1980. Here we are, nearly 45 years later, and two generations of meat-space participants have grown up not having to go through any such nonsense, which renders all this an insider's joke. There you have it, the rest of the story. But be that as it may, Happy New year to everyone, Nutz or otherwise! sumgai

Sorry to break your bubble sg, but I figured that you WERE older than that when you started talking about GR30s all those years ago... (insert further derailment here)
