Has this design ever been discussed at Gnuts? www.randombytes.net/guitar_pickup.htmlI came across it years ago, and lost track of it. I just tried a few key words, and what do you know, it came up as the first result in my Google search! I was put in mind of it a little earlier when going through some of posts of mine at Gnuts and came across what might be a similar scheme: guitarnuts2.proboards.com/thread/3161/ultimate-tone-monster-867-tonesI wish I could review the details of the scheme posted by Michael, but he has long ago disappeared from Gnuts. Anyway, maybe the scheme at RandomBytes will inspire someone here to build it.

We've discussed the concept of using relays and digital switching to control guitar switching, but I don't recall any discussion of that particular design. The whole idea seems a bit cumbersome just to switch guitar pickups, at least to my thinking.
michaelcbell's design has unfortunately been lost to the ether. I recall that his design used conventional switching, however.

I am quite curious about Michael's design. Between his profile here, and a bit of Googling, I may have tracked him down. sumgai (in the linked Gnuts thread) suggested that I might try contacting Michael. However, I feel if someone wishes to disappear from the web, they probably should be allowed to do that. Especially as he and I never interacted. I'm not going to build it, so......
It's a bit sad when things disappear from the Web, and even more so, when people vanish. I know it has happened a number of times here with valued members, often without explanation.
