I thought this was pretty interesting. It never would have occurred to me to make a ceramic guitar.
Unfortunately, he plays only a few seconds on the guitar.

That was cool. I love Dan Erlewine's videos. Seems like it would have been the perfect guitar for Pete Townsend back in the day...

I only checked Dan's channel for an update - this time I performed a more general search. This video seems to give reasonable idea of what this guitar is capable. I'm listening through crappy speakers, but it sounds like a guitar made from wood. Not really a great surprise for around these parts.

Well, Dan Erlewine described it as having 'a ceramic, glassy tone he's never heard'. To be fair, I'm listening to it on a computer speakers, after his recording it through who knows what, and he was listening to it live. Still, I'm unconvinced. Never the less, interesting. Here's a maker of ceramic guitars, but with a wooden neck: www.youtube.com/user/estro920Beautiful guitars.

I'm curious if the pups are just suspended or if there is some direct contact with the ceramic body.
