What do I do with the grounding wire part if I have a hardtail Strat (no tremolo)?

Weren't the electronics grounded on the bridge (be it hardtail or not) like standard strats? Shouldn't depend on the tremelo system. The (or 'a') wire from the bridge should go to the body cavity shield.
I'm not so sure this helps, but interested to find out more about hardtails...

Well, if I'm not mistaken, the hardtail bridge just screws right on top of the body. With tremolo Strats, there is all that mess in tha back body cavity that the grounding wire is run to. There is no back body cavity on hardtail Strats.
That being said, I'm not sure how a wire would be run to the bridge on a hardtail since it's just screwed to the top.

Well I've never seen one, but I've seen a on a fender bass. The wire comes out of a hole under the bridge, and it's squashed between the bridge plate and the body.
