Hello, I saw this diagram on how to wire up a standard stratocaster wiring using the DP5T. However, I am having trouble making the middle tone control also affect the bridge pickup. Will that require a 3P5T?
Regards, Marco

Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!
First off, please provide proper attribution for where you found the diagram (assuming it's not your own work).
Your request is a bit out of the ordinary, since one of the objections to the original Strat wiring was the anomaly of having the two tone controls (on the N and M pickups) both operable at position 4 of the 5-way switch (N + M setting). The extra tone at that setting loads the circuit more, so one of the first Strat mods ever was moving the middle tone control to the bridge pup, thereby leaving the mid without a tone control, but avoiding having two tones in the circuit at position 4.
But, you want what you want. Can it be done? Not sure, I'm not seeing a way to do that with this scheme, but maybe I'm just being dense so early in the morning.
Certainly, it could be done with an extra switch pole. Not sure I've ever seen a 3P5T switch in a size conducive to guitar use.

ramon,
First, Hi, and to The NutzHouse!
Next, your most recent post above states that you were asking the wrong question in your Original Post. We're good with that, things change all the time here! But I want to be clear here: you say that you want to duplicate the Strat Elite, but with a Superswitch instead of a hybrid, is that correct? Well, without mention of the Fender S-1 switch, we have to ask the nitty-gritty question... what parts of the Strat Elite do you want, and what are you willing to give up? Without that S-1 switch, we won't be getting very close to the Strat Elite's capabilities. HTH

newey and sumgai,
Thank you for the warm welcome!
sumgai,
That's correct, I have the Oak Grisby Superswitch and the Fender S1 Switch.
Truthfully, I don't actually have any preference with which combinations are available as I am not sure if I will be using the "non standard" combinations; aside from occasionally using them when fooling around. But since I have the parts on hand, I might as well implement one from Fender.
