Hey all, I was happy to finally plug my guitar in and find out that the new electronics were working with the 5 diff positions (originally had 3 way switch). The problem is that no matter what volume I have, I can hear a buzz. It's defo the grounding that has gone wrong because when I touch the jack plate the buzzing stops. I'm thinking it's because I couldn't find the Solder Lug in my guitar that was on the diagram so I just left that part out, although the wires are grounded to the spring claw and jack plug. Am I being stupid and just missing the Lug totally or will I need to go out and buy one (and from where in the UK) ? this is the diagram I used btw www.fender.com/support/diagrams/pdfs/SRVSTRAT/SD0109200APg2.pdf (its #18 that I skipped) Thanks in advance.

Roscolabri - welcome to GN2
A wire connected to any place on your bridge, and to the ground connection (back of the volume pot) should do the trick. If you cant solder to the pot, just trap the end under the shaft of the pot
