hy guys,
i have a gig coming up and i just need to tempoarily sort out the wiring on my guitar for the gig...
I have 2 rio grande pickups on my ibanez and i just want to be able to toggle as follows:
1: Neck 2: Neck 3: Both 4: Bridge 5: Bridge
Could someone just mock up a real rough and ready drawing of how i can wire this? Just assume there are only 2 wires, signal and ground for each pickup...
Thanks
John

i don't think that can be done with a stock switch. (i might be wrong) i think your 3 closest options would be: 1: Neck 2: Both 3: Bridge 4: Bridge 5: Bridge or 1: Neck 2: Neck 3: Neck 4: Both 5: Bridge or 1: Neck 2: Both 3: Both 4: Both 5: Bridge a few of questions: do you only have 1 tone control? was it originally wired for SSS, HSS, or HSH? are the Rio Grandes SCs? does your switch look like the one in this drawing?

well i cranked up the scheme-o-matic. here's what i sliced and diced for ya: that will give you: 1: Neck 2: Both 3: Both 4: Both 5: Bridge the 330 pF cap is nice, but not necessary. the value of the other cap and the pots are not etched in stone either. they just happened to be on the print to begin with. hope that fits your needs, if not we'll try again tomorrow. unk
