I've got my Strat set up with the first tone pot for the neck and the second for the bridge. I'd like to wire up the mid pup to the first tone pot so all pickups have a tone control. Can I do this with a basically stock setup? How do I do this? Can it even be done?

I would suggest a master tone? (center lug goes to le volume lug where all the pus go (hot). Usualy the left one i believe.) left tone lug goes though a capacitor then to ground.) I hope that made some sortof sense.

If you have a standard Strat switch it should be straightforward.
Look carefully at where the two tone controls are connected to the 5 way switch. There should be an unused lug between the two lugs that are connected to the tone controls. This need to be connected to the lug which is connected to the Neck tone control.
One of the consequences is that you will have both tone controls active in the Middle plus Bridge position.
Hope this helps.

there's nothing left to say!
neither of these 2 methods are "perfect" (nor is the way it's wired now.)
but between Happyguy and Hastings, the possibilities are mostly covered, and the shortcomings are either implied, or mentioned.
good work guys!

The neck and mid pups will share the first tone control, and the bridge will have its own tone control. That way when the bridge and mid pups are on I can dial in a good tone for the bridge, since it can be very bright at times and can use a good "toning down" from the mid pup. The neck and mid combo will be a bit like a humbucker. Thanks for the help!

No problem. The Neck and Middle combination will be much more like a humbucker if the pickups are wired in series rather than parallel. Series wiring is pretty big topic, but a good starting point would be to read the articles on the original guitarnuts site at: guitarnuts2.proboards.com/page/gn1-pagesHastings
