Hi everyone.
New poster here.
I'm looking to wire my two humbucker guitar with a 5 way switch as follows:
1 bridge humbucker 2 bridge humbucker with neck singlecoil 3 bridge and neck humbuckers 4 neck singlecoil with bridge singlecoil 5 neck humbucker
Does anyone know where I could find a diagram for this?
Thanks.
I love this stuff!!?

The second diagram in this thread seems to tick all the boxes for the 5 selections you described: guitarnuts2.proboards.com/thread/8884It has a TBX tone control but you could easily delete that an use a standard tone control.

How the heck did you remember that? I mean that it had been created and where to find it.

stevewf , I didn't remember it. It just seemed like something Phostenix might have done. Finding it was easy. Click on "The PhosteniX-files", then click on "HH Guitars" in the internal navigation.

For each pickup, wire the hot to one of the two common terminals on the switch. Then for each side wire the central lug and one outside lug to the volume pot/output. Choose the right outside lug so that pickup is on in the correct one or five position. Now you should have one HB on in the 1 and 5 positions, while the middle three positions all have both HBs on. Now for the clever bit. For each pick up, attach the coil split wire (on a three wire HB) onto the remaining lug on that side of the switch. The 2 and 4 positions should now each split one of the HBs. Sorry that I don’t have the immediate wherewithal to do a diagram but try drawing it out and you’ll see what I mean.

You might want to re-read the OriginalPost. I don't see a way of getting the combination he specified for Position 4 with your suggestion.
