After lusting over Carvin catalogs as a kid, I finally got my first Carvin about ten years ago. This is a DC400A and has the following features.
Neck-through construction
Ebony fretboard, 14" radius, abalone block inlays
24 frets, 25" Scale
5-piece maple/walnut neck, inline headstock, dual carbon fiber truss rod
3-piece body alder back with AAAA deep purple black-burst quilted maple top and walnut center (the walnut center is only visible in natural finishes lol)

Originally had active pickups, now has Tom Anderson H1's
