Opinions on the PRS/Iby option of inside coils?

What do you all think of the PRS option of inside coils in either series or parallel? I thought it would be interesting to add a humbucker coil inverter to the UUSS mix to get the PRS sounds (along with Ibanez) in addition to the Strat, LP, and Brian May options.

And along those lines I was thinking either just a straight inverter or one a special mode switch that would override the other settings to immediately jump to the PRS options.

For that matter, since I mention it, what do you guys think of the 2 and 4 positions of the Ibanez switching convention, using the inside coils of either the N or B humbucker coupled with the M pickup?

Ideas? Thoughts?

i like the idea of combining a single coil from a HB with a SC middle.

it keeps things in balance (or nearly so) in terms of hum-canceling.

the real challenge is imbedding a coil swap (north for south) in the switching when doing OoP so you can continue to have hum-canceling.

since the output of an OoP pair will be much lower than in-phase, hum-canceling is VERY desirable.

of course things get even more complicated if you want to also add the "tele" split pair, and maintain hum-canceling.

one of the HBs needs to use the opposite (magnetic) polarity coil, than it uses when combined with the middle.
