I've got a 4P3T rotary that I pulled from the Squire '51 that I'm renovating and I'd like to rewire it to offer series / parallel and single switching for a humbucker.
For the "humbucker" (singular) or "humbuckers" (plural)?
I ask for said clarity because that sort of thing can usually be handled amply (and cheaply) by a DPDT on-on-on toggle - not to mention the fact that it would take up a fraction of the space. You might want to reserve that rotary switch for higher level switching, like something that MickeyR or one of our other senior members would be working on.
Of course, if you are quite set on it, I'm sure we could whip up something for you.
Chris well done, your diagram should work! You can simplify it however. The top pole connects to three lugs which all go to the output, so you can just ignore that pole totally, and connect the top of the red coil directly to the output, using just the other two poles as you have shown them
