I am electronic stupid and can't wire a thing! I need to wire 2 Carvin M22 Humbuckers with 1 Volume pot and 1 Three Way pickup selector.
Very simple setup, no coil taps, no push pull, and no tone pot. Just Two humbuckers, volume, and a selector.
Please help. Thank you.

hi Stellargt, welcome to Guitarnuts2. "I am electronic stupid and can't wire a thing!" well friend, if you are also "solder stupid", save yourself some grief.....have a friend wire it up for you, or pay to have it done. if you do have some mechanical skills, and can solder (or have a friend that can), here's some info that will help you. go to Carvin's site Carvin's siteand hover over the customer service menu. click on manuals. a page will open. under the heading: Guitars & Basses, find -- Guitar Pickup Wiring Instructions. click on that link. or just go directly here: www.carvin.com/manuals/Pickup_Wiring.pdfuse the instructions for KIT 40 this is ALMOST the same as the Seymour Duncan wiring. but the color codes on Carvin pickups are different! DO NOT use this wiring diagram:in YOUR wiring: the red wires will connect to the 3-way the black wires will connect to the ground the white and green wires connect to each other. cheers, unk

bE,
sorry about contradicting you.
as it happens, i was busy composing my post, before you posted yours.
when i looked at the thread, after i posted mine, i was kind surprised.
also, i edited my post, after i saw i had incorrectly included SD's drawing for 2HB, 3-way, 1 volume, AND 1 TONE.
so you got that part right, where i missed it.
