Good Morning,
I have a very old Japanese Apollo copy of a semi-hollow Ric. It looks like it used to have a blend knob, but someone switched it over to standard LP wiring years ago. It's a great sounding guitar, but it squealed like a pig, so I just finished repotting the two pickups. After re-installing them, the squeal was gone and I just get the nice natural feedback of a semi-hollow. However, only the neck pickup works. I think it might be a problem with the switch because I only get output when the switch is set to Neck pup only. B and B+N are both completely dead. The problem is that I never touched the switch's wiring. The only thing I did was remove the hot and ground for each pup from their respective volume pots.
So, any idea what makes this problem go away?
-Much obliged
