hey guys i wanted to see what you guys would think about wiring my steinberger SSH like this. i assume it would still work w/ the bridge pup as a humbucker. im using EMG Selects in it, so i cant coil tap.

there are 2 questions that need answers. (i don't have the answers)
1 -- can EMG selects be used in series with each other?
2 -- can EMG selects be used with a phase switch?

The Selects can be used in series and in phase changing designs.
They are passive pickups. I do not know if they are two wire plus shield or just one wire plus shield.
If they are one wire plus shield, phase and series wiring will result in the shield to each pickup being the hot wire also depending on configuration, and special insulation will be needed. Also, the shield, once no longer connected to common, will shield no more.
Whats going on with the middle three switches?

it is an on off switch for each pup. all 5 switches would go where the 5 way selector was before....

alright, just so everyone knows, EMG Selects cannot be wired out of phase with each other, nor can the be coil tapped. my solutions is probably going to be picking up a dimarzio humbucker and then some strat pups and drop them all in so then i can do what i want....
