John, unk, didn't we clear this up last year? (I seem to recall all too vividly that I was on the losing end of that one.) Audio and logarithmic tapers are not quite the same, that's true. But in essence, they are close, aren't they? It's a sure bet that neither of them is likely to be mistaken for a linear pot, so why are we giving the impression that the argument is audio versus log? And no, I'm not gonna accept that audio is the new name for reverse-log, that won't fly in my book. Because on certain websites, I can buy a reverse-audio taper too. sumgai
