Greetings to all of you. I have looked tirelessly on many websites and forums for the answer to my query. I have some feeble idea of how to proceed and have experimented but am not sure about further experimentation. I have an HSH configuration on my guitar and wish to isolate the north pole of the neck pickup when in position five of my selector switch. Additionally I would like to isolate the south pole of my bridge pickup when in position one of my selector switch. I would make use of a push/pull pot to achieve this but am unable to determine how to proceed. Please help me. I have an OTAX 24 pole selector switch in the guitar as a stock item and instead of the black and white wires being tied off, the red and green wires are tied off. I believe this connection is made to create the series humbucking mode. It is my impression that the reverse wiring was made to deliver in phase humbucking, but I am guessing. I am referring to the wiring diagram offered by DiMarzio's website entitled "Humbucker Single Humbucker" as listed in Installation when viewing any humbucker on their site. It refers to the single coil with two wires exiting the pickup and the Jem guitar. I am looking at that wiring diagram as it depicts my guitar closely excepting I have an OTAX 24 pole switch. My wiring, as mentioned earlier does indeed resemble the reverse of that as a result of the phase thing I think. So in closing I am asking someone or many to help me with my modification project and assist me with my holy grail of sound. Thank you all for your help. If i could post a pic I would but it would not let me.

tremojem, Hi, and to the forums. You can't post any images here (nor can anyone else, it's not just you!), so what you'll have to do is post them to some kind of public server (probably a free one), and then use the [img src="...."] tags to display that image. When you insert the web address between the two tags, be sure to include the http:// at the front of it, or it won't work. As for your humbucker wiring, that's better left to others who have a deeper understanding of such things. sumgai
