I'll start the gig next sunday, so until that day comes, I can do everything to the guitar. I'm in hollidays right now and I can spend all the time needed with the guitar. I've finally change my dad's mind and he will help-me through the whole process. I only need some guide-lines. That step I haven't done is the problem right? So, now I have a question. After cuting the wire and attaching it to the body, you will have the other half of the wire remaining. What is supposed to do with it?
I'm here to thank you! Right before the sound check had began, I was really frustrated with my hum-caster. I decided to open the jack cavity and.. voila! There was the problem! The ground wire was almost disconnected! I don't know how it became like that, but I quickly took the soldering iron.. And it instantly became No-Hum-Caster!
The problem could have been solved quickly if I didn't mind to look there and slowly analise all the wiring. I've learned the lesson!
I didn't post earlier because I'm getting really busy with my friend's guitars lol and a new project.. I've to build something for school with the subject "Sound and electro-magnetism". Can you imagine what will I do?.. ;D More words for another post
A Big Thank you for all of you that helped-me through this mind-saturating but ear-satisfying project. I own you a dinner in my house
