Just again doodling around... I had in mind that what if one uses stereo pot for volume in such way that first section of pot is standard volume wiring... and second section is being second pot to control your tone circuit. Now the point is that second section "bypasses" your tone control when you roll volume down. Eg. same as turning your tone off at the same time while turning volume down. So it would make sound brighter when you roll down volume... Any worth trying? Any problems with other components in the circuit? This probably could be combined with some common treble bleed mod too (not drawn). I have used standard tone wiring, but this can be obviously applied to varitone circuits and alike. Dark

Interesting... so it limits the tone's ability to shunt the signal...
I wonder what effect it will have in the real world.

Oh my god I'm stupid... It can be tested rather easily with normal guitar... But I don't have one with pot-controlled tone.... have only a switch... maybe someone could test this by rotating simultaneously tone and volume pot... so it rolls off highs when volume goes up and vice versa... pay attention how it sounds with low volumes and give a thought how it would affect eg. volume swelling if those were in one pot... would appreciate that very much.
