New Here.
a few days ago, I bought a Fender Stratocaster (Mexican) with a HSS configuration. The Humbucker Pickup is great but I want something more powerful sounding for Rock/Punk such as GNR, Van Halen, Green Day, Blink 182 etc.
Can Anyone recommend me what sort of pickup would be good for those things?
After I replace the humbucker, I will place the mexican humbucker into My Squire Affinity Strat.

GFS pickups has some bang for the buck. But if you're into the major brands, a Duncan will usually do good for most vintage-oriented ones, while a DiMarzio excels for the modern-oriented ones. (and check out your artist's infos, too)
The problem is, your sort of music looks rather wide. I'd suggest an EMG active pup or Dimarzio Breed.

I am using a GFS Lipstick style humbucker with Alnico II magnets. Awesome tone.

thanks for recommendation, ltb, i will order a couple of gfs lipsticks tonight.
slashrox: according to guitarheads their active singlecoil prototypes are sold out but production will start in two months. active humbucker prototypes are still there though, but i would't mix active and passive pickups. so wait two months and buy them, as they are currently the cheapest active pickups on the market.
