I've used several GFS pups in addition to the singles referenced in your other pup post.
I seem to remember writing Jay about the magnets in these pups. I think he said they were ceramics, and if you don't have a preference, or if you prefer ceramic over alnico then there you go.
You will be giving up some sparkle and chime, but you would anyway with their humbucking design. He says they are 4 conductor so you could get them wired up as parallel or as signals for closer to strat tones.
I do have another pup with this same rails design and it tends toward the muddy end of things, albeit it is a good pup for that engineering approach.
As an alternative consider the HS-2 and HS-3 stacked coils design from Dimarzio that get a closer to Strat sound in the humbucking wiring, and a pretty authentic Strat single coil sound in the single coil mode. Only one single coil really works in a stacked design. These are more $ new, but can be purchased used on ebay for $20-30 per.

Ahhh yes, the Little Killer, put one in the bridge pos. in my MIJ (basswood body??/ maple fretboard). It kind of overpowers the creamics in the mid & neck-
imagine that....(my Killer meters out to 14.3k). I think a matched set would work much better. Nice crunchy pup, Think I might try the split my self- Im missun' that quackiness fo the B/M comb.
Cheers, Wesman
