Hi, I'm thinking about making one of my guitars an 'output monster'. So in the humbucker spot will be inserted a 'motherbucker' (27.5k dc ). I have in middle and neck position room for a single coil, or (and that's what i'm thinking of 'evidamment' ;D) a mini - humbucker. Now, as the motherbucker will be a kent armstrong, i might be choosing an armstrong mini-HB hot rail too. But maybe some people amongst you have good experience with other high(est) output mini-HB 's ?

Duncan Hotrails are popular.
The Duncan Designed Scorcher is an offshore-made Hotrails type on steroids. One can often buy these for $30 at Guitar Center when on "sale".
Both of these are over-wound and use ceramic magnets so they're hot and middy sounding.
Forget any instances of "glassy" or "bell-tone" here.
