Hey guys, one of my buddies and i found a used one of these used and picked it up(in the natural mahogany if youre curious.) Wanted to see if anyone knows if there are special baritone pickups made, or if i cant just drop any old humbuckers in there for an improved sound. Tyler

SD and DiMarzio among other make drop tuning pickups that may be of use. Most side-by-side humbuckers have pole screws, so one can balance individual string response along with side-by-side tilting of the pickup adjustment screws for overall slope. It will likely sound like any old humbucker that you drop in. In other words, it's your tone, you have to decide. In any case, the drop in tuning is only about 1/2 octave. What's wrong with the ones that are in there now?

CK,
Ill look into the DiMarzio pups. I assume SD also has some that are like it. as far as whats wrong, to me, they just dont sound right. I cant pinpoint what it is. Its just not right. Either way, its not mine, but my best friends. He wont let me put any pretty switches into it, so im determined to find something to do. ;D
