hey,anyone know what type of strings come stock on the musicman stingray,cuzz i thought they sounded real good,till i broke them:( or by any chance do u know what strings flea used in his stingray days Dave

I'd assume ernie ball... Not sure what gauge.
EDIT: Actually if you broke them, I'd assume very very light gauge.

no kidding, i cant even imagine an 11 being that long. personally i like 10s. why do you give us the scorn?

The further you tread from Stevie Ray Vaughn, the more scorn you shall recieve. Haha just kidding, I dont mind playing a set of 9's or 10's the odd time.

fair enough. i usually stick w/ 10s because everyone always picks up my axes and starts playing. there is always somone grabbing one w/o asking. 10s are in the middle so theyre comfy for nearly everyone.
