Well here's my first completely homemade axe... It ain't much but it works and its LOUD! Things I have learned: Just because it is called "wood finish" does not mean after you apply it you are finished. I'll use grain filler next time.. Also, combining 4 humbuckers, a 25 db boost preamp, and series pickup wiring is not a good idea and will ravage small amplifiers. Thats why theres extra holes in the pickguard, I took the series wiring out. And finally, breathing ebony sawdust is not a good idea.

i must say, this is impressive. my back seat project right now is a LP Jimmy Page copy. but i think i may try to drop another single between them and then who knows from there....

haha, that would be the greatest magnet. also, maybe i would finally have somthing to hold down the five inches of coupons on it....

it doesn't quite stick to the fridge, but it can screw up a digital watch if worn on the strumming hand!

very nice. i like how the grain blends in with the wood floor also, i'm rigging something up right now with 2 HBs in series. you said 4 in series was too much, but what about just 2? do you have any comments about that?

2 would probably be the ideal amount for severe overdrive without going overboard!
