This MB I built using walnut and some purpleheart accents. The neck is maple/rosewood 25 1/2" scale. It's a bolt on neck using cab bolts and hidden barrel nuts. Very secure and tight fitting joint. The bridge is Schaller tuneamatic with adjustable custom string spacing. Tailpiece is made of walnut bolted with cab bolts and threaded inserts, it makes full contact with the body. Tone/volume control knobs are made of walnut. I used GFS pickups; Vintage '59 in the neck and Fat PAF in the bridge. The finish is hand rubbed Tung oil (which has some poly) which gives the walnut a very nice smooth lustre, without having a heavy plastic coat look. How does it sound? As far as I'm concerned, great; because I built it. ;D

AWESOME! Its alot cooler than any other mockingbird Ive seen. The purpleheart accents are the best. I havent seen many guitars with purpleheart.
