I have completed my first Line6 Variax transplant. I installed the Variax 300 guts along with a wireless transmitter inside a new Ibanez RGR412EXFM. I am extremely happy with the outcome. I have never used a router or a scroll saw before so it was a little stressful to try them out on a brand new guitar. I would have liked to have a little more room between a few of the controls but I think I can adjust to them. ( edited by sumgai to turn the links into images.)

Beautiful job, Keebo. I'll bet it was a little scary, but it sure came out nicely. Thanks for the pix. Let us know about the tones you're getting.

Great looking guitar!! Did you happen to create a wiring diagram for this guitar? Could you create one and send it to me? I have been looking to do the same thing with my 500 for quite some time but I'm not sure how to go about connecting the Vax circuit and the Pups circuit all inside the same guitar. Any help or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated!! Cas
