(EDIT: moved by sumgai to the Applied Whammy Bars 101 Forum.)
i have a jackson ke-3 and after using it for about a year i realized that a floyd rose bridge is just too much of a hassle and i would like to put in a string through. so if anyone knows how to do that could you give me some information or some advise.
thank you i am much obliged.

Block it. Functional string-through - through the inertia block. or fabricate your own device, such as: if you want to do a real string through, buying a new body is the easiest. Otherwise you are off into something like this, which is guaranteed to ruin some weekends: www.projectguitar.com/tut/tht1.htm
