Gday and greetings fellow players, anyone know of a UK based supplier of quality replacement POTS and CAPS similar to the RS kits in the USA, to suit a les paul classic 2004 model

Hoddie- Hello and Welcome! Sorry, but I moved your post to here from the "Guitars" board, as it has to do with electronics moreso than with the whole guitar. I'm sure one of our UK members will chime in here with the best local suppliers. I can only point you in the direction of our Links Page (in the "References" section), where I found these: Maplin (UK)Rapidonline (UK)The above are both electronics suppliers. They have thousands of electronics parts, so you need to search about a bit for exactly the pieces you need. But these retailers often have better quality components at a much better price than guitar parts suppliers. As far as guitar-specific sites: Guitar SparesWD Music (UK)I can't vouch for the reputation or service of any of these sites, as I'm not in the UK. Again, one of our UK members can probably provide you with more info. I'm not familiar with RS kits, but then I don't have an LP either. HTH-

Hi Hoddie,
I've bought pickups from WD Music, and they seem to be a good company. They are completely guitar orientated too, so you can be sure you'll be getting the right part for the job. Maplin are a bit more general purpose, so although they seem cheaper, you'll have to check carefully to make sure the parts you get are up to spec. The stuff is usually good quality though, from my limited experience.
I've not had any experience of Guitar Spares or Rapidonline, but my first suggestion would have been WD Music. There may be cheaper suppliers out there, but (bearing in mind I'm not sure what an RS kit is, but assuming it's high quality) they are a reliable, sensibly priced bet.
